what i did
- Built a pre-check-in platform with Next.js and Supabase serving thousands of users across 400+ properties. It replaced third-party tooling and saves about $100K a year.
- Designed and built the company's core Fastify backend, powering multiple services with tenant isolation and a shared architecture.
- Built fan-out background processing on Google Cloud (Cloud Scheduler → Pub/Sub → Cloud Run) for per-organization token refresh and booking sync.
- Integrated the Beds24 PMS with rate-limit-aware polling, webhooks and OAuth token management across 400+ properties and thousands of daily messages.
- Improved performance and reliability with Redis caching, rate limiting, memory fixes and monitoring in Sentry and Better Stack.
- Built internal financial tooling, including revenue dashboards for 150+ property owners, automated reporting and Stripe and bank reconciliation.
- Set engineering standards (Turborepo monorepo, shared packages, CI/CD, docs) and mentored a junior developer.
